A must have in the art of Heavy Beading / binding or leather crafting. This Beautifully crafted simulated Sinew offers the same strength and durability of days gone by "Sin-New". The uses for this waxed thread is significant throughout the Indigenous culture. Another example of nothing wasted. This Sinew is a flat viscose thread. It does look and feel much like the real stuff at a fraction of the cost. Because of the amount of fibers making up this Sinew, easily it can be broken down into multiple strands. ( See Photos for example of this) 3 yards = 9 yards. For the patient people; it can be broken down to 6 lengths making 54 yards. Great for Beading, heavier types of Chokers, Bracelets, Breast Plates, Arm Bands, or anywhere there is a need for a heavier, longer lasting binding. Regularly used in sewing hard wearing stitching like Moccasins, Regalia, and leather. My Personal Favorite is breaking the fibers down into 3 lengths and using for the webbing of my Dream Catchers and the binding on drums and Rattles for adhering decorations. A must have.
